Thematic Exhibition Japanese Gallery Honkan Room 14 July 20, 2021 Tue -September 26, 2021 Sun Seki in Gifu Prefecture was a thriving hub of swordsmiths from ancient times. Takaki collected fragments of calligraphy from the Heian period 794—1185 and decided to donate thirty of these works to the Tokyo National Museum before he passed away in 2017. In this exhibition, we are displaying a selection of calligraphy fragments from his collection.
